Rods: The rods we build are all built by hand using the best materials we can, yet keeping the cost reasonable so you don’t need a second mortgage to own one.

Why bamboo? They are really a beautiful work of art. They function like a well tuned race car- fluid and smooth (not stiff) with a very sensitive feel.

We use Tonkin bamboo, stainless steel guides, titanium reel seat, nickel ferels, A- grade cork and silk wraps.

There are four different sizes that we make; 4, 4/5, 5 and 5/6. The taper we use are from well known builders, some of which we have modified slightly and some we have left alone: Payne 97, Granger “Victory”, Payne 101 and Paul Young “Martha Marie”.

I limit the production because there is only so much time you can spend in the shop.
